announcing: THE hollow valley tarot
a deck for witches of the woods, for cozy October nights around the fire, for wolves howling at the moon, for early morning cemetery walks. the tarot of balmy summer breezes and an old tree in the winter snow. a deck for everyone, for everyday magic, for finding power and guidance in the natural world.
the hollow valley deck of symbols
If you pay attention at all, you know that it’s tough being a person with a uterus right now. You know it’s tough to breathe and think when you feel threatened by people so much more powerful than you. It’s hard to imagine being of use to anyone when it feels like your body and agency are valued so little, while those who violently violate bodies still walk free consistently and often. I’m feeling lost, and I’m feeling ANGRY, and I’m turning to cards for some guidance.
I am ready to make an art show about hurting and growing and recovering and finding my magic. More than anything, this Scorpio New Moon energy combined with the energies of these cards is urging me to trust my intuition and really experience it. I am ready to receive.
Fuck, it’s scary to be a human risking putting her heart out into the world. But I want to do it, and Tide promises me that no matter how many times the ocean leaves me, it’ll come back to kiss my rocky shores again. I have to have faith.
